Courrèges opened in Paris in 1961 when André Courrèges, formerly Balenciaga's tailoring protégé, decided French fashion needed to look forward instead of backward. He invented the mini skirt alongside Mary Quant, the space-age A-line dress, and the white go-go boot. The house has been beautifully revived under Nicolas Di Felice from 2020.
